POSTERS COMPETITION REVISITED

The posters competition is slotted in for February 5th, 2010.

Each EPEP group must submit one poster.

Individual participation is also welcome from EPEP participants and all UDM students.

The participants however, must follow the guideline.



Competition Guideline:

1. The poster must be done on the paper provided.
2. The drawing must be in accordance to the themes suggested.
3. It's a free drawing and strictly no computer or software generated graphics
4. The winner will be determined based on the creativity, slogan and colours used, and ideas based on the themes given.



Suggested Themes:

a) Local fruits
b) Local scenes
c) English learning
d) Ambience
e) Wild life and nature
f) Health and lifestyle
g) Sports and recreational


All posters submitted will be on display at the locations to be announced according to the themes and for judging. The judges are composed of the deans and all the supervisors of the English Proficiency Enhancement Programme.



The Prizes:

1st prize = RM 300.00
2nd prize = RM 200.00
3rd prize = RM 100.00
5 Consolation prizes = RM 50.00

5 best posters for each theme will also receive a RM30.00 prize.



The organizer will not provide paint or brushes or crayons or water colours as these will be borne by the participants. Please specify the theme for your poster. The registration and paper collection can be done at the Faculty of Languages and Communication office starting from February 2nd 2010. The collection point for all posters will be at the Faculty of Languages and Communication meeting room at 4 - 5 p.m. on Tuesday February 9th 2010.
